As the age of sexual consent is 16, what are state employees doing fitting contraceptive implants in 13-year-old girls? Aren’t they colluding in a criminal act?
These sinister devices are a clear admission by the Government. It actually expects these children to have unlawful sexual intercourse, and wants to make it easy for them.
How strange, given that the one crime we all disapprove of utterly and completely is pedophilia.

Its cheaper to give them implants than to deal with unwanted bastard children which inevitably result. Teenage pregnancies are on the rise throughout Europe and especially the UK, this is a way to control the problem. These teenagers are having sex without any encouragement from the government and do not have the requesite discipline or access to regular contraception. Your article should focus on the root causes of this problem ie, inner city deprovation, joblessness, poverty, drugs and lack of affordable housing, rather than taking some pious holier than thou attitude toward contraception. The problem is not some tyranical demon government but rather a feature of modern society that saddly is all to common these days

THEN WHY NOT DEAL WITH THE ROOT CAUSES, inner city deprivation, joblessness, poverty, drugs and lack of affordable housing ( much more to this as well). I don’t see the pious holier than though attitude towards contraception. It is most definitely the lack of people not being able and/or unwilling to step up to the plate and deal with a real solution to the problems you have addressed that is pious and corrupt, be it from a corrupt government or any other institution. So now it is OK to force contraception as a problem solver that it is not. Are implants the real solution to this growing problem my friend?? No it is nothing more than sweeping the issue under the carpet and pretend that it exists no more. I think your comment address’ it very well.
